M/s. Infosys BPM Ltd., Bengaluru, conducted a three day faculty development programme titled “Data Analytics” from 22nd January 2025 to 24th January 2025 in the venue of Central Avenue, Techno Park (Special Economic Zone), Mahindra World City Campus, Sengundram, Singaperumal Kovil – Near, Chengalpattu District.

Murthy, Senior Manager, Data Analytics & Insight, Infosys BPM, Bengaluru, Mr. V.M. Govind, Lead HR & CSR & Diversity @ Infosys, BPM, Bengaluru, Mr. G.N. Sriranga, Associate Data Analyst, Infosys, Bengaluru and Mr. Prasanth Reddy, SE @ Infosys, Sri Venkateswara Institute of Technology, Hampapuram, Anantapur Dt, Andhra Pradesh were the resource persons.
The various topics like overview of business intelligence, business consulting optimization techniques, data mining, data warehousing & data visualization, responsible for mentoring cross functional analytical projects, project management tool developing data visualization, resourcing and financial services across large global corporate, power business intelligence, developing employability skills to the students community and so on were discussed in that three day faculty development programme.

More than 100 faculty members from the various higher educational institutions in and around India have enthusiastically participated. Totally 7 teams took part (Each team had 14 members and the last two teams had 15 members).
Apart from that, M/s. Infosys BPM Ltd., conducted a competition on “Project Creation and Presentation” for all the participants.
In this regard, it is proudly noted that Dr K. Vijayakumari, Assistant Professor in Computer Science, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, obtained the second prize in the competition of “Creating a dashboard in power BI (Business Intelligence)”.
