Ms. A. Shalini, greeted by the District Collector of Namakkal.
The Department of Tamil Development, Namakkal District, conducted an elocution competition on 10th and 11th February 2026 at the venue of Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Namakkal South. In this regard, Ms. A. Shalini, second year B.Sc., Computer Science, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, has actively taken part and obtained the first prize.

In continuation, a felicitation function was held on 23.02.2026 in the premises of the Collector’s Office, Namakkal. Ms. A. Shalini got the appreciation certificates along with the Rs. 10000/- (Rs. 5000 plus Rs. 5000) value of cheque from the District Collector of Namakkal, Mrs. Durga Moorthy. Mr. M.K. Saravanan, District Revenue Officer, Namakkal and other Government Officials also took part in that greetings’ ceremony.
