Naan Mudhalvan – Drone Hackathon – 2024 programme was organized by the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation, in association with the training partner of Jet Aerospace for Drone Pilot Techniques Course for the students of Periyar University affiliated colleges (Salem Zone – students from the districts of Salem, Namakkal, Dharmapuri and Krishnagiri) on 18th September 2024. It was held in the premises of Periyar University Campus, Salem.
All the participants selected an industrial, technical and other category problem statement and proposed their solutions with the help of Drone Technology. In each stage of Hackathon the ideas were fine tuned and innovative solutions were obtained through Prototyping, Innovative Design Optimization, etc.,
On behalf of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal Dr. B. Vishnupriya, Assistant Professor in Tamil & Coordinator, Naan Mudhalvan and the students of the college Ms. S. Nandita, third year B.Sc., Physics, Ms. A. Thasin Fathima, third year B.Sc., Mathematics, Ms. S. Jubitha, third year B.Sc., Mathematics and Ms. R. Mahalakshmi, third year B.Sc., Mathematics have participated in that programme. Mr. M. Vinoth, Program Manager, Tamil Nadu Skill Development, Chennai and also other resource persons spoke and highlighted the importance of hackathon on that occasion.
