New Voters’ Enrolment Camp
To include eligible students in the voters list (students who were born on or before 31st December 2008), the Department of Revenue, Namakkal District, organised a special camp for new voters that was held on 08th October 2026 (Thursday) at 11.30 AM in the premises of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal.
Dr. M. R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal of the College, presided over the programme.
Mrs V. Santhi, Revenue Divisional Officer, Namakkal & Voter’s Registration Officer, Namakkal, was the special invitee.
She distributed the Form – 6 (For new voters) to all the eligible students of the college. Apart from Namakkal Assembly Constituency, Rasipuram, Sendamangalam, Paramathi-Velur and Tiruchengode in Namakkal District; Aravakurichi, Karur, Krishnarayapuram and Kulithalai in Karur District; and Musiri and Thuraiyur in Tiruchirappalli District, also benefited through that special camp.
The RDO insisted on the requirement of essential documents, like date of birth proof (SSLC Mark Sheet/Aadhar Card/PAN Card/Driving Licence, etc.), proof of residence (water/electricity/gas connection bills/bank passbook, etc.), and recent passport-size photographs are needed for new voter’s enrollment .
Mrs. M. Soundeeswari, Election DeputyTahsildar; Mr V. Gobinath, Revenue Inspector & Election Assistant; Mr. R. Lakshmi Narasimhan, Village Administrative Officer; Vagurampatti village, Namakkal; and the revenue officials of Namakkal District took part.
Besides that, Mr N.S. Senthilkumar, Administrative Officer, and Dr R.A. Anitha, Coordinator, Electoral Literacy of the College, also participated in that special camp.
