Participation in the celebration of World Hospice and Palliative Care Day (October 14, 2023)

50 NSS volunteers of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, along with the NSS Programme Officers Dr. M. Sasikala and Mrs. S. Jayamathi, actively participated in the observation of the World Hospice and Palliative Care Day event, held on October 14, 2023, in the premises of Thangam Hospitals and Cancer Centre, Namakkal.

          Dr. R. Kulandaivel, Founder and Director, Thangam Hospitals and Cancer Centre, Namakkal, presided over the programme. This day was observed on October 14, 2023, with the aim of ameliorating the quality of life of people affected by serious health problems. This year’s theme was “compassionate communities: together for palliative care”, he pointed out.
