Due to the International Mother Language Day, The Postgraduate and Research Department of Tamil, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal organized a video creation competitions event on 17th February 2026 in the College premises. The title of the Video Creation – “Our Tamil Language is the Mother Tongue of all Languages”. (மொழிகளுக்கெல்லாம் தாய்மொழி நம் தமிழ் மொழி)

The Principal, Dr. M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, gave their insights about how significant it is to value one’s mother tongue. Many students from the department of Tamil, actively took part.
