Observation of National Technology Day
Owing to the celebration of National Technology Day, The Institution’s Innovation Council, Entrepreneurship Development Cell, & Internal Quality Assurance Cell, in association with the Departments of Physics and Chemistry, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal organized a one-day webinar titled “Smart Education with AI Tools on May 11th, 2026.
Dr. N. Latha, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Physics, J.K.K. Nataraja College of Arts and Science (Autonomous), Komarapalayam, Namakkal District, was the resource person.
Artificial Intelligence is not only useful for scientists or software engineers; it is very helpful for ICT classrooms, laboratories, and libraries. AI can help teachers create more effective lesson plans and assessments. It also helps them identify the strengths and weaknesses of their students, allowing them to provide targeted support and guidance, she noted.
Additionally, she explained how AI-powered tools can support curriculum design and development, research assistance, personalized studying, content creation and generation, assessment automation, adaptive learning, and administrative efficiency.
More or less 100 students as well as faculty members of the College took part.
