OBSERVATION OF WORLD ENTREPRENEUR DAY
Owing to the observance of World Entrepreneur Day, the Institution’s Innovation Council, Internal Quality Assurance Cell, Entrepreneurship Development Cell, Trinity College Alumni Association, Trinity Women’s Forum, Value Added Programme Cell, and Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell (C9496) jointly conducted a women empowerment program titled “FROM SPECULATION TO INNOVATION – EMPOWERING THE NEXT GENERATION OF WOMEN FOUNDERS” on August 21, 2026, in the College premises.
Mrs. R. DEEPIKA, (Alumna – B.Sc., Computer Science, M.Sc., Computer Science & M.Phil., Computer Science – Trinity College for Women, Namakkal) & Proprietor, Niral Beauty Parlour & Bridal Makeover, DSP Complex, First Floor, Namakkal – Mohanur State Highway (SH 95), Aniyapuram (UBA Networking Village of our Institution), Mohanur Taluk, Namakkal District, was the resource person.
Nowadays, more and more women are becoming entrepreneurs, both directly and indirectly. According to the recent survey received from the Government of India, the women of Tamil Nadu have received more financial assistance under the scheme of Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, after the state of Bihar. Many nationalized, scheduled, and cooperative banks in India have come forward to give loans to women. Interested students can utilize these opportunities, she said. Also, she gave some tips to start entrepreneurship, such as bridal makeovers, aari work, beauty parlors, and boutiques. The Principal, Dr. M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, presided over the programme. The faculty members of the College, Mrs. S. Bhuvaneswari, Dr. S. Sandhiya, Mrs. K. Padmavathi, Ms. K.L.Priyadharshini, Mrs. S. Malarkodi, Mrs. S. Bharathi, along with the students took part.
