Distribution of Deworming Tablets
On account of the National Deworming Day, Deworming Tablets of Albentozone were distributed to the students of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal by NSS, YRC, RRC, TWF and UBA Cell with the support of the Department of Physical Education on 10th February 2026.
More than 1000 tablets were distributed to the students as well as faculty members for their better health. The day is to make people aware of the significance of deforming, the Principal, Dr. M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, said.
Dr. R. Navamani, Vice-Principal, Dr. R. Savithri, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Tamil (UG), Mrs. V. Archana, Physical Director, The NSS Programme Officers, Dr. M. Sasikala & Mrs. V. Gokila, Mrs. V. Kalaivani, Coordinator of Youth Red Cross, Dr. S. Kalaivani, Coordinator of Red Ribbon Club, Mrs. R. Rupa, Coordinator of Trinity Women’s Forum and Mrs. S. Hemalatha, Coordinator of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell along with the students took part.
On behalf of Primary Health Centre, Vagurampatti, Namakkal, Mrs. D. Gowri, Village Health Nurse and Mrs. S. Kavya, Mid-Level Health Care Provider participated in that deworming tablets distribution programme.
