Naan Mudhalvan Programme on “Income Tax, GST and Tally”
On behalf of Naan Mudhalvan Scheme, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal organized a two day programme in the title of “Income Tax, GST and Tally” on 10.04.2023 and 11.04.2023. It was held in the premises of the mini seminar hall of the College.
Mr. S. Ananth, Industrial Trainer, NSE Academy, Chennai was the special invitee. He elaborated the overview. Scope, composition, registration, amendment, supply concepts, input tax credit and tax invoice of Goods and Service Tax. Besides, he explained the need of income tax for our country’s growth, usage of PAN (Permanent Account Number), TAN (Tax Deduction and Collection Account Number), ITR (Income Tax Returns, TDS (Tax Deducted at Source), tax exemption, classification of Income Tax, Etc.,
In addition, he elucidated the calculation of tax, GST, monetary terms, accountancy and managerial commercial transactions through the Tally Accounting Software. More than 200 students benefited through this programme.
