Statewide conference with heads of Institutions
On behalf of Naan Mudhalvan, Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation conducted a one-day statewide conference with heads of institutions on 29th August 2024. It was held on the premises of TPT Alumni Auditorium, Sona Institutions campus, Salem.
Mr. C. Valliyappa, Chairman, Sona Group of Educational Institutions, Salem presided over the programme.
The Managing Director of Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation, Ms. J. Innocent Divya was the Chief guest. The Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation has been continuously collecting feedback from students, colleges and industrialists. All industrialists expect students to have English communication skills. Many of the students who are pursuing higher education hesitate to fluently speak in English during the interview because of an inferiority complex and lack of training. Each and every student of higher educational institutions encourages their students to get an immediate placement. The Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation also encourages entrepreneurship for fresh graduates, she denoted.
Dr. R. Brindha Devi, District Collector, Salem District, was the special invitee. She highlighted the significance of Naan Mudhalvan Programme for the benefit of students of Engineering, Polytechnic, Arts and Science Colleges. Dr. Mohamed Sherif, Vice-President, Naan Mudhalvan, Mr. V. Karthikeyan, Principal, Thiyagaraja Polytechnic College, Salem and Mr. M. Ravichandran, District Employment Officer and Skill Development officer, Salem District spoke on that occasion.
On behalf of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, Dr. M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal and Dr. B. Vishnupriya, Assistant Professor in Tamil & Coordinator & SPOC, Naan Mudhalvan took part.
