Drug Awareness Meeting
On behalf of the District administration of Namakkal District, “Drug awareness meeting among College Principals, School Principals and Headmasters” was held on 06th February 2026 on the premises of the Collector’s Office, Namakkal.
Speaking to the Headmasters & Principals, the District Collector, Mrs. Durga Moorthi, called upon the head of the Institutions to support the initiative of making Tamil Nadu a drug-free state. Drug use should be completely eradicated from the state, she urged.

Rajesh Kumar, District Assistant Commissioner, Excise Duty, Namakkal, Mrs. A.S.Ezhilarasi, Chief Educational Officer, Namakkal, Dr. Indhumathi, Psychiatrist, Mrs. G.Karpagam, District Children Protection Officer, Namakkal, The Public Relation Officer of Namakkal District, Mr. C.R. Rajesh Kannan, The Divisional Officer of Excise Duty, Mr. R. Srinivasan, Dr. N.P. Lalitha, District Tobacco Consultant, Department of Health, Namakkal District, other higher officials along with the various schools & Colleges headmasters & Principals took part.
On behalf of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, Dr. S. Jeyanthi, Assistant Professor of Mathematics & Coordinator, Anti-Drug Club attended that meeting.
