New Voters Enrollment Camp
On behalf of the Electoral Literacy Forum, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, organized a “New Voters’ Enrolment Camp” in the College campus on 15.12.2025. This programme was held with the support of the Department of Revenue, Namakkal District.
Mrs. A. Sundaravalli, Taluk Supply Officer, Namakkal was the special invitee. She highlighted the significance of votes for all the elections such as Parliament, Assembly and Local Body. Also, she elucidated how to fill up Form No. 6 for new voters.
Students of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, who have completed the age of 18 (born on or before 31.12.2007) and have not enrolled on the voters name list participated with the documents of Form 6, a copy of Aadhar Card, a copy of previous Institution’s Transfer Certificate/Birth Certificate (For Age Proof) and the recent passport size colour photographs.
More than 100 students benefited through that programme in the assembly constituencies of Namakkal, Rasipuram, Tiruchengode, Paramathi-Velur and Sendamangalam in Namakkal District, Musiri and Thuraiyur in Tiruchirappalli District & Karur and Krishnarayapuram in Karur District.
Dr. M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal of the College, Mr. K. Subramanian, Sanitary Inspector, Namakkal Municipal Corporation and Mrs. P. Pushpa, Revenue Inspector, Keerambur, Namakkal also took part in that camp.
