Naan Mudhalvan Programme on “Good Manufacturing Practices – Quality Assurance”

On behalf of the Naan Mudhalvan, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal conducted a programme titled “Good Manufacturing Practices – Quality Assurance” on 19^th, 26^th July 2024, 2^nd, 9^th, 16^th, 23^rd and 30^th August & 06^th & 13^th September 2024 in the College campus.

Mr. D. Vijay Haravinth, Registered Pharmacist, State Pharmacy Council, Karur was the resource person. He explained the meaning, objectives, product development, quality regulations, supply chain, research and development of GMP. Also, he indicated the importance of 5P’s like production, processes, procedures, premises and people.

Elements of GMP are needed in the products. These are quality management, human resource management, contracts, purchasing, premises and equipment, documentation, production, quality control, complaints and recall self inspection, etc., also, he pointed out.
