Road Safety Awareness Programmes for the Drivers and the Caretakers

On behalf of the Road Safety Club, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, conducted a Road Safety Awareness Programme for the benefit of institutions (Trinity Academy Matric Higher Secondary School, Trinity College for Women & Trinity CBSE School, Namakkal) drivers and caretakers on 11th February 2026 in the College premises. The main aim of the programme is to strengthen the significance of responsible driving, strict traffic discipline, to maintain the vehicle periodically and a safety-first mindset.

This event also emphasized the role of drivers for speed management, preventing accidents and protecting lives.

Four “D” driving things are very dangerous for drivers, namely, Drunk Driving, Drowsy Driving, Drugged Driving and Distracted Driving, The Principal, Dr. M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, denoted in his talk.Dr. R. Navamani, Vice-Principal, Dr. B. Lena, HOD of Mathematics, Dr. T.K. Anuradha, HOD of Tamil and Mr. N.S. Senthilkumar, Administrative Officer of the College also spoke on that occasion.
