Owing to 76th Anniversary of the Geneva Convention Day (2025-2026), Indian Red Cross Society, Tamil Nadu Branch, conducted an Elocution Competition on 01st August 2025 in the premises of Namakkal Kavignar Ramalingam Government Arts College for Women, Namakkal. In this regard, Ms. D. Gowshiga, final year B.A., English, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal procured the second prize in the essay writing competition titled “Red Cross and its importance in current day”

            Owing to 76^th Anniversary of the Geneva Convention Day (2025-2026), Indian Red Cross Society, Tamil Nadu Branch, conducted an Elocution Competition on 01^st August 2025 in the premises of Namakkal Kavignar Ramalingam Government Arts College for Women, Namakkal.  

In this regard, Ms. D. Gowshiga, final year B.A., English, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal procured the second prize in the essay writing competition titled “Red Cross and its importance in current day”.  

In continuation, a felicitation function was held on 11^th December 2025 in the premises of Namakkal Collector Office.   Mrs. Durga Moorthi, District Collector, Namakkal gave away certificates along with the medal.      Mrs. V. Kalaivani, YRC Programme Officer, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal also attended that greetings programme.
