Celebration of national science day – Department of Physics
Owing to national science day, the Department of Physics in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, conducted the various competitions like drawing, quiz, poster presentation and short film on 20th, 22nd and 26th February 2024. These competitions were inaugurated by Mrs. Aruna Selvaraj, Executive Director in the presence of Dr. M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal, Dr. Arasuparameswaran, Director – Academic and Dr. B. Lakshmi, AP & HOD of Physics, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal.

Dr. A.P. Sudha, Assistant Professor in Physics, Vellalar College for Women (Autonomous), Thindal, Erode, was the special invitee. She delivered a topic entitled “Role of science for environmental applications” on 28th February 2024. She explicated on environmental security issues and how the world order is disturbed by these. Apart from that, she delightfully explained the various environmental issues we are facing day by day. Mrs. K. Saranya, AP in Physics and Mrs. P. Gowthami, Lab Assistant in Physics were also present on that occasion.
