Good wishes to Ms. A. Shalini
Owing to the birth anniversary of Thanthai Periyar, the Department of Tamil Development, Namakkal District organized the “Namakkal District Level Elocution” competition on 31st October 2025 at the venue of Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Mohanur Road, Namakkal South. Ms. A. Shalini, second year B.Sc., Computer Science “B” section, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, obtained the second prize in the elocution Competition titled “Periyar – Socrates of South Asia”.
In continuation, a felicitation function was held on the premises of the Department of Tamil Development, Collector’s Office Campus, Namakkal on 09th December 2025. Dr. R. Prakash, Director, Department of Tamil Development, Namakkal District, gave away Rs. 3000 worth of Cheque along with the appreciation certificate to Ms. A. Shalini on that day.
