Observation of World Earth Day
Owing to the International Day of Earth, The Eco Green Club, Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell, the Institution’s Innovation Council and Internal Quality Assurance Cell, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal conducted an awareness programme on 22.04.2025. It was held through the platform of Google Meet.
The Coordinators of Eco Green Club, Mrs. G. Kannagi and Mrs. V. Indirakumar spoke on the topic titled “Plastics – Reducing…. Reusing & Recycling”.
Plastic does not melt easily. The environment is being polluted due to the usage of biodegradable plastics. Recycling of plastics is needed for the hour. As citizens, we should use cloth bags instead of plastic bags, they said. Nearly 100 students took part in various departments.
