Owing to the National Voters Day celebration, Tamil Nadu Public (Elections VII), Department Secretariat, Chennai organized a felicitation event for the prize winners, campus ambassadors, and NODAL officers on January 25, 2024, at 4 PM in the premises of Kalaivanar Arangam, Chennai.
The Electoral Literacy Club, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, has successfully involved the electoral process, and for their active participation in the enrolment of new eligible electors (voters), our college got the appreciation certificates from the chief guests.
His Excellency Governor of Tamil Nadu, Thiru R N. Ravi, Chief Electoral Officer and Principal Secretary to the Government of Tamil Nadu, Mr. Satyapradhan Sahu, Mr. V. Palanikumar, Election Commissioner, Tamil Nadu State, and Mr. J. Radhakrishnan, Corporation Commission, Greater Chennai Corporation, took part and gave the appreciation certificates to our institution (Trinity College for Women, Namakkal).
On this subject, Dr. S. Anidha, Assistant Professor in Chemistry and NODAL Officer, got the appreciation certificate as “Best Performing Electoral Literacy Club,” and Ms. P. Hinduja, First Year M.A., Tamil Degree, “Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, obtained the appreciation certificate as “Best Performing Campus Ambassador.
They also received a cash prize of Rs. 1000 each from the chief guests on that day.
