Program on “Employability Skills”.  

As a part of “the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, conducted a program entitled “Employability Skills” on August 24th, 27th, 28th, and 31st, and September 1st and 2nd, 2026, on the college premises.    Mr. D. Senthilkumar, Mr. E. Stephen Arputharaja, and Ms. G. Hemalatha, Adjunct Faculty Members, Naandi Foundation, Chennai, were the resource persons.

Employability skills play an important role in one’s career. These skills are applicable both at the workplace and outside the workplace. Knowledge, skill, and attitude are attributes of employability skills. These are necessary for immediate placement, they stated.     Also, they elucidated the needs and importance of professional and career skills, like communication, teamwork, problem – solving, initiative, planning & organizing, directing, learning, self-management, continuous literacy of technology, and innovation.

The Principal, Dr. M. R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal and Dr. R. Navamani, Vice-Principal conveyed their greetings to the participants.

 The members of the Skill Development Cell, Dr. B. Vishnupriya (Coordinator), Mrs. D. Prabha, Mrs. K. Padmavathi, Mrs. S. Kavya, Mrs. S. Madhukaraiveni, Dr. S. Sandhiya, Dr. S. Kalaivani, Mrs. V. Gayathri, Dr. D. Indumathi, Ms. P. Sri Renugadevi, and Ms. Y. Lathika made the arrangements.
