Appreciation cum Trophy Giving Ceremony at Periyar University, Salem
Under the auspices of the Physical Education Department, Periyar University, Periyar Palkalai Nagar, Salem has organized “Athletics and other sports tournaments” in affiliated colleges in and around Salem, Namakkal, Dharmapuri and Krishnagiri Districts.
In this regard, the ceremony of “Appreciation cum Trophy Giving Ceremony” for the academic years 2023-24 & 2024-25, for winner, runner and third position players was held on 11.06.2025 on the University campus.
The Vice-Chancellor Administrative Committee Member of Periyar University, Dr. S. Jayanthi, (Principal, Shri Sakthikailassh Women’s College, Ammapet, Salem), Mr. K . Raja Vinayakam, Secretary, AVS and Shri Sakthi Kailash Educational Institutions, Salem and Dharmapuri were the chief guests.
Dr. K. Venkatachalam, Physical Director, Periyar University, Salem welcomed the gathering.
During the academic year 2023-2024, our Trinity College for Women got the second position in yoga, held at our college campus on 15th March 2024.
On behalf of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, Mrs. V. Archana, Physical Director obtained the trophy from the special invitees on 11th June 2025. She is greeted.
