Students of Costume Design and Fashion participate in the International Multidisciplinary Conference
The School of Arts and Science, in association with the Microbiologist Society, India, the Department of Microbiology, Biochemistry and Clinical Laboratory Technology, Textile and Fashion Designing and Costume Design, and Excel College of Commerce and Science, Komarapalayam, Namakkal District, organized a two-day international multidisciplinary conference entitled “NEXT-Generation Life Sciences: From Cutting-Edge Innovations to Real-World Applications on the 24th and 25th of September 2026, on the college campus. Various subjects, such as clinical diagnostics and laboratory technologies, antimicrobial resistance and infectious diseases, microbial biotechnology and industrial microbiology, pharmaceutical nanotechnology, emerging healthcare technologies, sustainable biosciences biofuels, bioremediation, circular biochemistry, sustainable textiles and eco-friendly materials, innovative textile technologies, sustainable fashion and circular design, alternative costume design, creative design, and industry innovation, were discussed at the conference.
On behalf of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, the following 24 students, along with the three faculty members of Costume Design and Fashion, Mrs. A.P. Pavithra, Ms. S. Vaishnavi, and Ms. S. Prathishka, actively took part in that international multidisciplinary conference.
