Drug Awareness Programme
The Anti-Drug Cell, in association with the Youth Red Cross, Red Ribbon Club and National Service Scheme, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, organized a drug awareness programme on 24th December 2024 in the ICT Hall, Department of Mathematics, Science Block of the College.
Ms. K.R. Mevika, second year M.Sc., Mathematics, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal spoke on the title of “Life is a precious gift – Don’t waste it on drugs” and Ms. T. Jayashri, second year M.Sc., Mathematics, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, delivered the topic entitled “Embrace Life – Not Drugs”.
The above-said twosome said that the life of a student is challenging, exciting and interesting. They face problems overcoming these challenges so that they achieve their goals and be successful in life. They advised the participants to be cautious and stay away from the utilization of drugs.
This programme was organized by Dr. S. Jeyanthi, Assistant Professor in Mathematics and Coordinator – Anti-Drug Club of the College.
Dr. S. Kalaivani, Assistant Professor of Chemistry & Programme Officer of the Red Ribbon Club of the College and the students of the College took part.
