Orientation Programme on “Sexual Harassment”
The Anti-Ragging and Sexual Harassment Cell, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal organized an orientation programme titled “Precaution, Prohibition and Remedy of Sexual Harassment” on 05th December 2025 on the College premises. Mrs. V. Abirami, Assistant Professor of Computer Science, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal was the resource person. At present, most of all, women work in many departments. However, crimes against women have not yet been reduced. Many government schemes and laws are favourable for women. Unfortunately, many women do not use these laws properly, she said. Also, she gave some tips against sexual harassment.
Mrs. M. Malathi, Assistant Professor in Computer Science & Coordinator of Anti-Ragging and Sexual Harassment Cell made arrangements. 106 Students of the College benefited through that programme.
