Industrial Visit for the students of Chemistry
The Department of Chemistry, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, organized an industrial visit for the students of B.Sc., Chemistry and M.Sc., Chemistry to M/s. Seshasayee Paper and Boards Ltd., Pallipalayam, Namakkal District on 12th February 2026.
This industrial visit was designed to offer our physical science students practical exposure to the principles of pulping and paper making, and an understanding of sustainable practices in the paper industry. The personnel of the Paper Industry explained the process, functions of machineries and the finished goods of copier paper, writing papers, printing papers, specialty products, like examination paper, American copier, etc.,
32 students, along with the faculty members of Chemistry, Dr. S. Anidha and Ms. M. Rineesha participated in that industrial visit.
