Study tour of CDF students
Erode city is famous for textile industries. Many textile shops and industries are located in and around Erode city. In this regard, the department of Costume Design and Fashion, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal has arranged a Market study programme (Study Tour…… Market Research….. Enterprise Exploration) on 01st August 2024 at Erode city. 4 Faculty members (Mrs. K. Punitha, Ms. K.P. Theepika, Mrs. A.P. Pavithra and Ms. R. Saranyadevi) along with the second year and third year students of Costume Design and Fashion went to Erode. They have visited the places of Abdul Gani Market, Eswaran Kovil Street, Thiruvenkatasamy Street, Textile Gateway and Erode Textile Mall in Erode City. Our college students of CDF have obtained new ideas and innovations in these textile hubs: how to attract the customers and satisfy them and what are the strategies and techniques that are followed for customer satisfaction.
Ms. K. Nithya, third year B.Sc., Costume Design and Fashion of our College, mentioned in her feedback, these textile industries field trips are very useful to us. My future aim is to become a textile entrepreneur. Apart from the theoretical knowledge, this practical experience gave us new confidence.
