Students of English participate in the national level English workshop
The Department of English and the Department of Physical Education, in association with the Selvamm Institution’s Innovation Council, Selvamm Arts and Science College (Autonomous), Namakkal, organized a one-day national level workshop titled “From Muscles to Metaphone — AI Transformation in Sports, Nutrition, and Digital Narratives” (MMAITSNDN 2K25) 24th December 2025 in the college premises.
Dr. Soumy Syamchand, Assistant Professor in English, St. Gregorios College, Kottarakara, was the expert speaker, and she delivered the topic titled “The AI Revolution: How AI is Reshaping Sports, Nutrition and Storytelling.” Dr. A. Mahaboobjan, Professor and Secretary (Sports), Department of Physical Education, Bharathidasan University, Trichirappalli presented the topic entitled “Use of AI is Physical Education and Sports”.
The Second year, M.A., English students of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, Ms. P. Akalya, Ms. S. Aliya Thasin, Ms. P. Nandhini, Ms. A. Lalitha, Ms. M. Sneka and Ms. K. Divya actively participated in that workshop.
