The Department of Physical Education, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal conducted a one-day programme under the title of “Aerobic Exercises for the Faculty” on 22nd July 2023. Mrs. V. Archana, Director of Physical Education, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal was the resource person.

Aerobic Exercise event for the faculty of the College

The Department of Physical Education, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal conducted a one-day programme under the title of “Aerobic Exercises for the Faculty” on 22nd July 2023.  

 Mrs. V. Archana, Director of Physical Education, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal was the resource person. 

Aerobic Exercise is also known as cardio exercise.   It is an energy-intensive workout.   It involves repetitive, rhythmic movements and the use of large muscle groups.     Cycling, jogging, and jumping jacks are examples of aerobics exercise.   This exercise is outlined to enhance heart rate, breathing rate and circulation.  It also helps our body for physical fitness, burn calories and reduce the risk of chronic diseases like heart diseases, diabetes and obesity, she pointed out.  

 All the faculty of the College eagerly participated in that event.
