Webinar on Virtual Reality
The Department of Physics, in association with the Institution Innovation Council of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, conducted a webinar titled “Virtual Reality in Scientific Experimentation” on 28.06.2025. On this subject, Dr. V. Anthony Raj, Assistant Professor in Physics, Bishop Heber College (Autonomous), Trichirappalli was the resource person.
This Virtual Reality provides students with conduct experiments, hands-on practice in a safe, risk free environment, allowing them to explore complex concepts & develop practical skills, he said.
Also, he highlighted the benefits of Virtual Reality in Scientific Experiments, Examples, Usage and Future Trends.
Dr. B. Lakshmi, Assistant Professor & Head, Department of Physics, The Coordinator of IIC, Dr. A. Vijayasarathi and the faculty members of Physics, Mrs. B. Kavitha, Dr. R. Sakunthaladevi, Mrs. V. Kalaivani, Mrs. S. Sandhiya and Mrs. P. Gowthami made arrangements. 107 students of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of the College took part.
