Digital crop survey orientation programme
The Digital Crop Survey Orientation Programme for Village Administrative Officers and Revenue Inspectors was held on 08th August 2024 on the college campus. This programme was conducted for the benefit of VAO’s and RI’s who belong to Namakkal Taluk, Namakkal District. This online event was held through a video conference of zoom mode.
Mr. R. Srinivasan, Tahsildhar, Namakkal taluk inaugurated the programme.
This programme was helpful for the farmers to view their girdwari (regular harvest inspection) using advanced technology, ensuring quick insurance, payments for crop damage and expediting the process of acquiring a Kisan Credit Card.
More than 60 government officials of Namakkal taluk benefited through this programme. This programme was coordinated by the department of Computer Science, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal.
Mr. M.S. Senthilkumar, Deputy Tahsildhar, Namakkal, Mr. S. Asokan, Revenue Inspector, Namakkal and Mr. R. Lakshmi Narasimhan, Village Administrative Officer, Vagurampatti was also present on that occasion.
