Voter Awareness Programme
The Electoral Literacy Club, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, and the Department of Revenue, Namakkal District, jointly conducted an “Election Awareness Program” for the benefit of all the voters of the College” on March 25, 2024, It was held in the Seminar Hall of the College.
Dr. M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal, welcomed the gathering.
Mrs. P. Madeswari, Special Tahsildhar (Stamps), Namakkal, was the special guest. She interacted with students and stressed the need for voting and its significance.
Mrs. Aruna Selvaraj, Executive Director, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, presided over the program. She said that youth have an important role in voting for the progress of our country.
Mrs. M. Matheswari, Senior Revenue Inspector, Namakkal Taluk, Mrs. S. Seetha, Record Clerk, Namakkal Taluk Office, Mrs. K. Yasmin Parveen, and Mrs. P. Arivukodi, Junior Revenue Inspectors, Namakkal Taluk Office, also spoke on that occasion. They highlighted the role of young voters in strengthening the democracy of our nation.
Dr. Arasuparameswaran, Director, – Academic of the College, proposed the vote of thanks.
Dr. R.A. Anitha, Coordinator, Electoral Literacy Club compiled the programme. All the young voters at the college have actively taken part.
