The Entrepreneurship Development Cell of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, in association with the PU-HEDP-HUB (Periyar University Innovation Entrepreneurship Development Programme HUB), Salem, jointly organised a one-day event titled “Entrepreneurial Burgeoning Programme of the Old Students of Trinity College for Women: Women’s Dress Materials, Bed Spreads, Bedsheets, Pillows, and Household Appliances,”, which was held on October 26, 2023 (Thursday)

Trade-fair and selling of textile goods and home appliances

The Entrepreneurship Development Cell of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, in association with the PU-HEDP-HUB (Periyar University Innovation Entrepreneurship Development Programme HUB), Salem, jointly organised a one-day event titled “Entrepreneurial Burgeoning Programme of the Old Students of Trinity College for Women: Women’s Dress Materials, Bed Spreads, Bedsheets, Pillows, and Household Appliances,”, which was held on October 26, 2023 (Thursday) in the seminar hall. Apart from that, costume items, food items, small grain food, and other day-to-day use bags were exhibited. Because of the enhancement of students’ entrepreneurial purposes, this event was held. This event was executed with the aim of encouraging our college students to be entrepreneurs while studying at the college.

Especially, Ms. L. Keerthi, B.Com. (2018-2021) and M.Com. (2021-2023 batch), Trinity College for Women, Namakkal & Joint Director, KG Tex, 1-A, Annai Anjugam Street, VVG Nagar, Vengamedu, Karur, was the young entrepreneur, and her team members exhibited the textile exhibition and sold the goods for the upcoming Diwali festival, to be celebrated on November 12, 2023 in and around India. Along with Ms. L. Keerthi, other students who are engaging in entrepreneurial activities at home also took part.

           Er. K. Nallusamy, Chairman, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, inaugurated the exhibition cum sale. 

Mrs. Aruna Selvaraj, Executive Director; Dr. M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal; Dr. Arasuparameswaran, Director-Academic; and Mr. N.S. Senthilkumar, Administrative Officer of the College also took part.

Mrs.G. Nithya, Coordinator, EDC, and her team members, Mrs. S. Bhuvaneswari (Computer Science), Dr. A. Latha (Tamil), Mrs. M. Rajapadmavathi (Commerce), Mrs. V. Indirakumari (Chemistry), Ms. K.P. Theepika (CDF), Dr. S. Revathy (Mathematics), Dr. K. Keerthana (English), and Ms. K. Saranya (Physics), arranged the programme. Many students as well as faculty enthusiastically took part and purchased their clothes for the upcoming Diwali festival.
