First year Postgraduate Inauguration Ceremony
The inauguration ceremony for the first year classes of postgraduate degree students for the academic year 2025-2026 was held at the premises of seminar hall, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal on 04th August 2025.
The event began with an invocation and the Tamil Thai Vaazhthu. Er. K. Nallusamy, Chairman presided over the programme. Er. S. Selvaraj, Secretary, offered the felicitation address. Dr. M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal, welcomed the gathering.
The chairman spoke about the importance of higher education, the significance of research courses, achieving success in life, results achievements, the role of alumni in the institution’s growth, value-added programmes, campus interviews, placement, various opportunities available on the college campus, like the Trinity Air-conditioned Auditorium, Library, infrastructure facilities, etc.,
The programme was compiled by Ms. M. Rekha, Assistant Professor in English of the College.

Savithri, (Undergraduate in Tamil), Dr. B. Lakshmi (Physics), Mrs. V. Indirakumari (Chemistry), Mrs. G. Kannagi (English), Mrs. A.P. Pavithra (Costume Design and Fashion), Ms. P. Sri Renugadevi (Nutrition and Dietetics), Dr. S. Jeyanthi & Mrs.V.Gokila (Mathematics), Dr. S. Devi & Mrs. M. Rajapadmavathi (Commerce), Dr. A. Vijayasarathi (Computer Science), Dr. S. Barathi (Tamil), Mrs. S.Gayathri (English), Mrs. V. Kalaivani (Physics), Dr. S. Anidha (Chemistry), Dr. M. Selvi & Mrs. P. Sathiya, (Library Science) and the Physical Director of the College Mrs. V. Archana, along with all the first year postgraduate students who were admitted during the academic year 2025-2026, took part in that programme.
Finally, Ms. M. Sowmiya, first year M.Sc., Chemistry, Ms. R. Devipriya, first year M.A., English, Ms. A. Afizha Begam, first year M.Com., and Ms. R. Dhanushiya & Ms. M. Santhiya, of first-year M.Sc. in Computer Science, highlighted the importance of postgraduate education as well as the reason for the selection of Trinity College for Women for pursuing the Post Graduate Degree Courses.
Dr. G. Nithya, Assistant Professor of Commerce of the College, proposed the vote of thanks.
