YRC Programme Officer (Mrs. V. Kalaivani) participates in the Awareness Programme.
The Indian Red Cross Society, Tamil Nadu Branch, The Youth Red Cross, Namakkal District and Periyar University, Salem, jointly conducted a one-day awareness programme titled “Suicide & Drug Abuse Prevention Training for YRC Programme Officers of Namakkal District” on 11th December 2025 held at the District Panchayat Office Meeting Hall, Collector Office, Namakkal on 11th December 2025.
Mrs. Durga Moorthi, IAS, District Collector, Namakkal and President, Indian Red Cross Society, Namakkal presided over the programme.
Mr. C. R. Rajesh Kannan, Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Namakkal District welcomed the gathering.
Mr. A. B. Antony Jenith, Treasurer, Indian Red Cross Society, offered the felicitation address.
Dr. Santhosh Clement, Former Clinical Counsellor, Christian Medical College Hospital, Vellore was the resource person.
Dr. E. G. Wesely, Associate Professor in Botany, Arignar Anna Government Arts College, Namakkal and YRC District Organizer, Namakkal proposed the vote of thanks. Many YRC Programme Officers in and around Namakkal District took part.
On this subject, Mrs. V. Kalaivani, Assistant Professor in Physics and Coordinator, Youth Red Cross, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal took part.
