Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme
The Institution Innovation Council, Internal Quality Assurance Cell and Entrepreneurship Development Cell, in association with the departments of Nutrition & Dietetics and Costume Design & Fashion, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, conducted a one-day workshop titled “Entrepreneurship & Innovation as a Career Opportunity” on 27.10.2025 in the college campus.
Ms. K.P. Theepika, Women Entrepreneur & Startup Founder, Wear & Lovely Embroidery Shop, Valayapatti Road, Mohanur, Namakkal District was the subject expert.
She explained the various entrepreneurial activities, like how to plan a startup business, the process of conveying passion for business, choosing the areas for startup, strategies for attracting customers, how to face problems & struggles, use of social websites, like whatsapp, Instagram, facebook, YouTube, etc., for advertising and marketing the products, implementing the new innovative ideas, etc.,
The faculty members of Nutrition and Dietetics, Mrs. R. Rupa, Ms. P. Sri Renugadevi, Mrs. S. Bharathi and Ms. S. Nandhini, the faculty members of Costume Design and Fashion, Mrs. A. P. Pavithra, Ms. R. Vijayaprabha, Ms. S. Vaishnavi and Ms. S. Prathiska made arrangements.
All the students of Costume Design and Fashion actively took part.
