IPR Awareness Programme
The Institution’s Innovation Council, in association with the Department of Costume Design and Fashion, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, conducted an “IIC 8.0 Calendar Activity” session on “IPR Basics for Innovations and Entrepreneurs” on 24th October 2025 in the College premises.
Dr. G. Sathiya Sangari, Assistant Professor of Commerce & Coordinator – Quiz Club, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal was the resource person.
She elucidated the different kinds of Intellectual Property Rights, trademarks, Industrial Designs, Patents, etc., Also, she stressed the significance of IPR in today’s knowledge-based economy.
This programme highlighted how these IPR can support product development, innovation and business growth.
Dr. A. Vijayasarathi, Coordinator, IIC, the faculty members of CDF, Mrs. A.P. Pavithra, Ms. R. Vijayaprabha, Ms. S. Vaishnavi and Ms. S. Prathiska as well as the students of the College took part.
