IIC Programme on “IP & Music”
The Institution’s Innovation Council, in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal conducted a webinar entitled “Emancipating innovation in Music” on 26th April 2025.
It was held through the platform of Google Meet.
Dr. S. Anidha, Assistant Professor of Chemistry & NODAL Officer, Dr. K. Vijayakumari, Assistant Professor of Computer Science & Website Streamliner and Developer and Ms. K.P. Theepika, HOD I/c & Assistant Professor in Costume Design and Fashion, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, were the resource persons.
This year (2025), the theme for International Intellectual Property Day highlights the crucial role of Intellectual Property Rights in fostering creativity, innovation and a thriving global music industry. It protects the work of creation, innovation, technical know-how and entrepreneurs in the music industry, they said. Nearly 100 students as well as faculty members took part through the virtual mode.
