Celebrations of World Food Day
The Institutions Innovation Council, Internal Quality Assurance Cell & Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell, in support of the department of Nutrition and Dietetics, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, observed an international food day on 07th June 2025.
Ms. P. Sri Renugadevi, Assistant Professor in Nutrition & Dietetics, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, delivered the topic titled “Food Safety – Science in Action”. It was held through the platform of Google Meet.
Millions of people around the world cannot afford healthy food. It is essential for good health and nutrition, she said. Also, she emphasized the significance of the consumption of fruits, vegetables and millet for a healthy life. Nearly 100 students from the various departments took part.
