Grama Sabha Meet
The nominated students, as well as UBA network villages (Aniyapuram, Parali, Tholur and Pettapalayam, Mohanur Taluk, Namakkal District) faculty representatives of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal (C9496) participated in the Gandhi Jayanthi Grama Sabha Meet held on 11th October 2025.
The various issues such as removal of caste names from streets, prevention of dengue fever, preparation for the north east monsoon, Rain Water Harvesting, Eradication of Child Labour, Steps to implement Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana for Rural Youth Skill Training, The Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (100 days of employment), Our Village, Our Government (Namma Ooru Namma Arasu), Anaithu Grama Anna Marumalarchi Thittam, Swachch Bharat Mission, Pradhan Mantri Adarsh Gram Yojana, etc., were discussed in that Grama Sabha Meeting. It is proudly noted that the UBA Cell, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, continuously participates in the Grama Sabha Meet from the academic year 2022–2023 onwards in those UBA network villages of Aniyapuram, Parali, Tholur, Pettapalayam and Vagurampatti.
