Cybercrime prevention against women – 02.02.2023
The NSS Cell & Trinity Women’s Forum of Trinity College for Women in association with Namakkal District Police organized an awareness Programme entitled “Cybercrime prevention against women” on 02.02.2023. It was held in the premises of a mini seminar hall.
The programme started with the welcome address delivered by Dr. M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal. Mrs. Aruna Selvaraj, Executive Director presided over the programme. Dr. Arasuparameswaran, Director – Academic of the College offered the felicitation address.
Mr. K. Sankarapandiyan, Inspector of Police and Mrs. P. Sangeetha, Sub Inspector of Police, Namakkal Town Police Station, Namakkal were the special invitees.
Mr. K. Sankarapandiyan, shared his views on self-help and self-motivation with regard to women security and cybercrime.
Mrs. P. Sangeetha, shared her outlook on the issues related to women safety and criminal offence against women.
In addition, they presented the various types of cybercrimes through the video.
Mr R. Manivannan, Head Constable, Namakkal Town Police Station, The NSS Programme Officers Dr. M. Sasikala, The YRC Programme Officer Dr. R. Savithri, The NODAL Officer Ms. S. Poornima and also more than 250 students took part in that awareness programme.
