Physics students’ participation in national level conference:
The Post Graduate and Research Department of Physics, Arignar Anna Government Arts College, Namakkal conducted a 2 day national conference entitled “Recent Trends in Material Sciences” on 02nd & 03rd March 2023 in the College premises. This national conference was sponsored by Tamil Nadu State Council for Higher Education (TNSCHE), Chennai and Tamil Nadu State Council for Science and Technology (TNSCST), Chennai.
Prof. Dr. S. Arumugam, Honourable Vice-Chancellor, Tamil Nadu Open University, Chennai was the chief guest. Prof. Dr. Nandakumar Kalarikkal, Senior Professor, Former Director & Chair SPAP & IIUCM (School of Pure and Applied Science & International and Inter University Centre for Nano Science and Nano Technology), Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala state, Dr. R.T. Rajendrakumar, Professor, Department of Nano Science & Nano Technology, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore & Dr. N. Shanmugam, Assistant Professor in Physics, Dharmapuram Gnanambigai Government Arts College for Women, Mayiladuthurai were the resource persons.
Dr. M. Kumaravel, Principal Incharge, Arignar Anna Government Arts College, Namakkal presided over the conference. Mr. C. Chinnasamy, HOD of Physics, The faculty of Physics of the College Dr. N.Sethupathi & Dr. R. Balasubramaniam spoke at that conference. Dr. V. Velumani, Convener, RTMS (Recent Trends in Material Sciences – 2023) proposed the vote of thanks.
