Entrepreneurship Development Programme
The Postgraduate and Research Department of Commerce, in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council, Internal Quality Assurance Cell and Entrepreneurship Development Cell, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, organized an entrepreneurial awareness programme titled “Marketing Strategies for Young Women Entrepreneurs” on 13.02.2026 in the College premises. The main objective of the programme was to equip participants with essential skills in market analysis, branding, digital marketing and customer relationship management.
Dr. M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal presided over the programme.
Dr G. Bhoopathy, Associate Professor of Commerce, Rathnavel Subramaniam College of Arts and Science (Autonomous), Sulur, Coimbatore was the resource person.
Now, many women entrepreneurs have started taking leading roles in our country’s economic growth. Women entrepreneurs do face many challenges in today’s business world. Due to heavy competition, all entrepreneurs, including women entrepreneurs are facing many challenges to the success of business. In particular, social media platforms will be helpful to them. In recent years, social media have emerged as a transformative force in the field of business and entrepreneurs. Social media, like Facebook, YouTube, Whatsapp, Instagram, tiktak, WeChat, Snapchat, X (Twitter), etc., are leading our current society, as the entrepreneurs of women utilize these opportunities, he denoted.
The faculty members of Commerce, Dr. M. Sasikala, Dr. S.Devi, Dr. G. Sathiyasangari, Dr. M. Umamageswari, Mrs. M. Rajapadmavathi, Mrs. A. Rajeswari, Ms. P. Madhupriya, Ms. P. Dhanushiya along with the students of Commerce (Both UG and PG) took part.
