The Postgraduate & Research Department of Commerce, in association with the Institutions Innovation Council and Entrepreneurship Development Cell, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, conducted a programme titled “The Fundamentals of Intellectual Property Rights for Young Entrepreneurs” on 27th January 2025

Awareness Programme on “IPR”

            The Postgraduate & Research Department of Commerce, in association with the Institutions Innovation Council and Entrepreneurship Development Cell, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, conducted a programme titled “The Fundamentals of Intellectual Property Rights for Young Entrepreneurs” on 27th January 2025 in the seminar hall of the College.           

 Mr. B. Vignesh, Research Associate, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Research and Development Centre, Marichettihalli, Pochampalli Taluk, Krishnagiri District was the resource person.    

He  emphasized the necessity of Intellectual Property Rights at this time to hold our rights, our inventions and innovations in the present days, which can help our students to adopt their career as powerful and successful entrepreneurs.                Also, he pointed out the full details of IPR. Why should it be protected?  IPR in Indian Scenario, the role of offices of the controller and general of patents, design, trademarks, copyrights, etc., 

Mrs. Aruna Selvaraj, Executive Director, Dr. M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal, Dr. Arasuparameswaran, Coordinator – Silver Jubilee Celebrations, The faculty of Commerce, Dr. M. Sasikala, Mrs. G. Nithya, Dr. S. Devi, Dr. G. Sathiya Sangari,  Mrs. M. Umamaheswari, Mrs. M. Rajapadmavathi,  Mrs.A. Rajeswari, Ms. P. Madhupriy and Ms. P. Dhanushiya also participated in that programme.   All the students of Commerce benefited through that programme.
