One Day National Level Workshop on “The Craft of Research Writing” on 01.02.2024

The students and faculty members of the Department of English, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, had participated in the one-day national-level workshop on the craft of research writing organized by the Department of English, Shri Nehru Maha Vidyalaya College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore, on February 1, 2024, through an online platform.

20 students and 10 faculty members of our college attended the workshop.

The seminar started around 10:00 a.m. The resource person for the first session was Dr. C. G. Shyamala, Assistant Professor, Department of English, Mercy College, Palakkad, Kerala. She shared her ideas and knowledge on the importance of doing literary research and the format of writing a research article. The session urged our students to write many research articles.

The resource person for the second session was Dr. V. L. Thomas, Assistant Professor, Department of English and Government, Victoria College Palakkad, Kerala. He had provided a lot of information about the style of writing a research project, the importance of literature, and adopting critical theories while analyzing a literary piece of work. The seminar ended with a feedback session and a vote of thanks. The following faculty members and the students of English at Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, have actively taken part through the virtual mode of Google Meet.
