Industrial visit of Physics Department students – 12.12.2022
The aim of an industrial visit is to provide the students an insight regarding the internal working of organizations. In this regard, the students of Physics, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal visited the campus of Tamil Nadu Veterinary College and Research Institute, Namakkal on 12th December 2022.
73 students of both B.Sc., Physics and M.Sc., Physics along with six faculty members (Dr. B. Lakshmi, Mrs. B. Kavitha, Dr. R. Sakunthaladevi, Mrs. S. Mohanapriya, Mrs. V. Kalaivani and Ms. K. Saranya) have been seen in various places of TANUVAS.
The faculty members of the Veterinary Research Institute explained the special diagnostic and treatment resources like Endoscopy, Ultrasonography, ECG, Diathermy and Cryo-Surgery and Dental Scaling, Small and Large animal surgical services, Contrast radiographic facilities, Physiotherapy, Large animal reproductive Ultrasonography, Infertility clinic and inhalant anesthetic facilities for small and large animals.
Beside that they elucidated day and night facilities of (24 x 7) separate Emergency and Critical Care Unit for the sake of animals. In addition, the students and staff members of Physics have seen the important places of cattle shed, rat cage, buffalo authority, piggery, horse shed, rabbit shed, poultry farms of hen, kiwi, turkey, koel, kadaknath, karunkozhi, ostrich, emo and duck in the Veterinary Research Centre at Namakkal.
