Swachch Bharat Abhiyan Programme
The Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell, in support of the National Service Scheme, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal conducted an awareness programme titled “Clean India –Healthy India” (சுத்தமான பாரதம் ——சுகாதாரமான பாரதம்) on 27th & 28th February 2025 in the College campus.
Mrs. S. Eswari, Supervisor – Swachch Bharat Mission, Ms. R. Harini, Animator – Swachh Bharat Mission, Namakkal City Corporation, Namakkal were the special invitees.
Ms. R. Harini started her speech with the significance of maintaining the natural environment. She also talked about the major focus of environmental safety and protection. Additionally, Mrs. S. Eswari, highlighted the healthy life, and she asked college students what the environment is and then explained that the environment is a common requirement of all living creatures. Without the environment, no one lived longer, she pointed out.
Finally, all the participants filled Swachch Survekshan 2024 – Citizen Feedback Form (Under Swachh Bharat Mission Urban 2.0) through their touchscreen android mobile.
The NSS Programme Officer (Unit 2) Mrs. V. Gokila and Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell Coordinator Mrs. S. Hemalatha made arrangements. All the students of the college took part.
