         To raise awareness of the cybersecurity aspect, The National Service Scheme of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, organized a one-day workshop entitled “Effects of sensitization against social media addiction” on 13th February 2026 for the benefit of volunteers of the NSS.
The volunteers of NSS were sensitized about emergencies, digital attacks, best practices for cybersecurity and collective responsibility in building a secure and vigilant digital ecosystem.

         Dr. M. Sasikala and Mrs.V. Gokila, NSS Programme Officers of the College, elaborately explained the meaning, types of cybersecurity, cyber crime & attacks, cyber fraud and safety measures, etc., through the PowerPoint presentation. All the volunteers of the National Service Scheme of the College actively participated.
