Tree Plantation Programme – organized by the department of Physics and Eco Green Club (21.11.2022)
The Department of Physics and Eco Green Club of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal jointly organized a tree plantation programme on 21st November 2022. Mrs. Aruna Selvaraj, Executive Director of the College inaugurated the programme. Students of Physics planted the saplings one each of their choice by choosing from varieties of seeds and trees. Total 29 saplings were planted by the students. It includes the seeds of green leaves, mint, betel leaf, veld grape, dwarf copperleaf spinach, brahmi leaves and some saplings like neem, papaya, basil, hibiscus, henna, turmeric, karpoora valli, aloe vera, custard apple and banana tree.
Dr. M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal, The faculty members of Physics Dr B. Lakshmi, Mrs. B. Kavitha, Dr. R. Sakunthaladevi, Mrs. S. Mohanapriya, Mrs. K. Akila, Mrs. V. Kalaivani, Ms. K. Saranya and Mrs. V. Indirakumari, Coordinator of Eco Green Club also took part.
