Naan Mudhalvan Programme on “Food processing” 

          Under the auspices of Naan Mudhalvan, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal conducted the programme titled “Food Analysis – Food Processing and Preservation Methods” on 24th January, 31st January, 07th February, 28th February, 10th March, 27th March, 28th March, 02nd April and 04th April 2025.    

Ms. P. Divya Bharathi, Trainer, Rare Minds, Bengaluru was the resource person.  

She explained the food processing techniques, viz, methods of food processing, ways to extend shelf life, analysis of nutrients, additives, contamination in food, preservation of food techniques (such as freezing, drying and canning), innovation in food processing to enhance the food taste, need of nutritious foods, want of storage of food, etc., 

Ms. R. Rupa, Assistant Professor & Head & Ms. P. Sri Renugadevi, Assistant Professor in Nutrition & Dietetics, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, also took part on that occasion.
